In each life there comes a time for reflection on one's legacy. A time of pause to acknowledge your blessings and to consider what contribution you would like to make to the future. Some people offer their time as volunteers or leave bequests as a way to give thanks and to help assure the future well being of their community.

A COMMUNITY OF GIVING

The Sonoma Valley Hospital revenues are augmented by taxpayer support, charitable bequests, fundraising activities and volunteerism. Community giving is what enables a small hospital like us to continue on it's mission.

The Sonoma Valley Hospital is finanically aided by an annual parcel tax. And in 2008 the district voters offered the additional support of a 35 million dollar General Obligation Bond. These bond funds are designated to seismic upgrades and much needed facility renovations.

The Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation has worked for 26 years to provide the hospital with additional funds, making possible the purchase of vital medical equipment and contributing to valuable program development.

Day to day operations are greatly impacted by financial aid and just as importantly, the volunteer work of the Sonoma Valley Hospital Auxiliary makes a meaningful and dynamic addition to our hospital staff.
